I working really hard in my lessons. According to my teacher I learned everything expect for a little more driving experience. I hope to have my license before 2011 starts and I am fairly confident that I will pass the exam in 1 try.

I have to start over again on this one because I think I spend quite some money from what I put into savings. I will calculate how many tasks I completted and will transfer that amount to my savings account.

Read another 6 books acording to last time. I could be doing so much beter! I love to read and I just let it slop. Maybe I should make it a rule to try and read 100 or so pages a day. Not to force myself but to get me into reading again. Why not start today? I am currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. I have seen the movie but I always want to know how the book that it is based on is like.
Ps. And I have just counted I have 45 other unread books..

I am doing well with this. I have quite some movies to be watched and I just generally like to watch movies so, this should not be a problem at all!

#14 Run a marathon/race
I do not train for this. I really think that I should run more often but it is hectic right now because I want to rest before I go to school and my introduction week next week. Once we hit mid-september I should be able to do some more.

#15 Read the Bible cover to cover (7/15)
The bigger bible books remain for me to read. I think it is interesting, I really, really do but it takes a lot of focus and concentration from me. I am sure this will happen eventually too.

This one does not go according to plan. We don't have seperate volunteer activities with charities.

#1 Visit the deep blue sea [7/8/2010]
Yes, went whale watching in Boston, US just a week ago. I actually saw the enormous creatures rising from the sea. It was pretty impressive if I may say so :). We traveled an hour from the coast by boot so I think this counts as the deep blue sea does it not?

As I said before I was fairly sure that I would only be visiting 9 US States while being on our trip and it turns out, that indeed there where only 9! But I still have quite some time to go a 10th state!

I was thinking about planning the tasks in advance. So here we go:

#1 Visit the deep blue sea
This summer, in 6 weeks to be precise I go whale watching, so that is one for this.

#2 Visit 10 US States
In 4 weeks I leave for Canada and the US. I will make pictures of the States sign as proof. As far as I know I will be visiting 9 US States while I am there so still one short..

#3 Visit either a ManU or a Barcelona game
I think I should plan a weekend with my father this fall or maybe next spring to go to Barcelona. We could make it a father-daughter weekend.

#4 Visit a Formula One Weekend
Same thing here. It would be really cool to go to the grandprix of Singapore or Malasiya. At this moment I don't have the money and the time so again, maybe fall or spring.

#5 Set up a tent in the backyard and sleep there with a friend
Maybe I could do this at the end of the summer with S. since we might be both leaving for college.

Seeing Barcelona would make 3 and there will be 2 games of Ajax (def!) that I will go and see once the 2010/2011 season starts.

Only thing I have to do for this one is get the money and buy the thing. Could be so easy. But I have no money whatsoever to spare at this very moment.

Did this. This was very easy. Ajax is by far my favorite team and I support them througout (?) the season. Hope to get a little more fanwear.

I don't know if there is going to be any oppertunity to do this before the 101 project is over. I might transfer it to the new list :)

#10 Drive a Lamborghini
Same with this one. You have to be 25 (or 23) to rent a Lamborghini. I am nor will I be before the end of the 101 project.

I should really hurry up with this one. But summerbreak is nearing as I am finished with school in just 2 weeks. I really do not have the nerve to read now, since final exams start in 4(!) days! Read The Host by Stephenie Meyer and that it was a fascinating book even though it took a while to get into the story.. Now reading The Eldest, second of the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini.

I started watching movies daily cause I really helps me to relax not that I am really starting to freak out for the finals. To name a few: Hannah Montana: The Movie, Welcome, Georgia Rule and The Boat that Rocked.

As usual I have been selling my products at work. I hope I will make the second one involving work too. I stop working half augustus because I am starting university next fall. The University is not local so I cannot continue working here. I am a bit sad about it but after two years it is time for something new again :).

Watched season 4 of a show called de lama's, the dutch version of Who's line is it anyway? which I think is way beter than the original format.

Second message of this month! It is a miracle :)

#6 Visit 5 soccer matches (2/5)
It is unbelievably tight now that the compition is nearing its end. My favorite football club is second only 1 point behind the number 1 FC Twente, and there are only two more games to be played. Last weekend, sunday, I went to one of Ajax's matches. The game was against VVV Venlo, currently ranked 13th or 14th I believe. My sister, father and I had great places and we saw 7 to 0 victory happening right in front of our eyes. Once again I picked a great match to go to!

#12 Read 250 books (108/250)
Read 5 only books. It is going well and I think I am going to make the number. I once again read a book from the amazingly funny Marian Keyes. I just love her way of writing. I have now read 4 books of her and I liked every single 1 on them! Now reading The Host by Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga. It is renewing and I am quite curious were the book is going to end.

Watched 3 more movies. I did not really enjoy them. They were fun to watch but not really my kind of movies. One of the movies was Oscar winning movie Million Dollar Baby and I did cry at the end. But I just had the idea that the movie was too slow..

Today I ran for the first time in a very long time. It was really tough to go trough but I made it to the end. I want to try and run a 5k race in the near future so I have to start running more often. I just did 3 km today.

I still not doing what I am supposed to do: blogging more than once a month. My Highschool is coming to an end. That means that I have quite some spare time know, but I will be busy again in 2 weeks when I need to start learning for my final exams. But there most be some time for updating this thing.

#12 Read 250 books (103/250)
This is the one thing I will always keep working on. I read books for fun so this is not really something I have to push! Again I managed to finish a really horrible book I just could not get through: The Blue House by Preeta Samarasan. The novel just didn't make sense at all to me. So I will not be reading a book by her again.. There were some other simple reads this month but I am currently reading a classic again: Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. Will take some time to finish because the language is hard. I also promised myself I cannot buy any more books until after I come back from the States/Canada this summer. I have a whole shelf that needs to be read!

#13 Watch 350 movies (155/350)
Still a little than 200 movies to go. I made it easier for myself by decreasing the number of films that I wanted to watch. It is just not achievable to watch so many movies in 1001 days. I rented a bunch of movies this week. Already watched 4. The funniest movie was defenitly I love you, man with Paul Rudd. The guy is great actor and makes you laugh out loud all the time. Watched it with my sister 2 days ago. Was fun to do something with the two of us.

Even though it is Easter Sunday tomorrow there were not many custumors in the store today. Still time went very fast and I had a good talk with my collague's. How I love this job!

I has been quite on the postcard front for a while. I sent out a great deal and all of them have arrived but there was only one card I received in the enitire month of March:(.. But! Maybe this month is going to be better because I already received the first card of the month today..

#42 Watch 10 random seasons of series (2/10)
I watched a dutch show called Lauren Verslaat. In the show a girl goes to different event and problem areas in the world to write a story about it. She went to Napoli to write about the Camorra and she went to Rio de Janeiro to write about Carnaval! She has an interesting way of reporting. The other show is called Wie is de Mol?. It is format that is sold to many countries so maybe you know how it is played. 10 'famous' Dutch persons are sent to a country. There are 9 candidates and 1 mole who tries to prevent that money is won. Each episode there are 2 games to be played. In the games money can be won. At the end of the episode the candidates have to make a test and guess who is the mole. The one with the largest number of wrong answers is sent home.

#74 Do something with mom 15 times (3/15)
Last weekend I went shopping with my mom for a dress for my prom. It was really a mother-daughter thing but I asked my grandma to come along to because I know she likes it. I found a gorgious dress and it is a shame that I have to wait some time to wair it. The prom is on the 28th of april, before the final exams even begin and I am really looking forward to the party! I will post a pic of the dress after prom :)

This one is so easy with my addiction for shoes. I bought two pairs last weekend: A blue checkered pair Tommy Hilfiger shoes and grey/black Vans.

#12 Read 250 books (97/250)
Read 4 new books since the last update. I stalled finishing the Battle for the Big School. I just couldn't get through. I did finish 1 fantastic book called Pope Joan (has been made into a film!). I seemed enormous but I had it finished in a matter of days. Furthermore I read 2 chicklits and a real classic, Wuthering Heights. I am currently reading a SF book called Artemis Fowl. I already read this one but that was about 5 years ago! Still like it :)

I was thinking about altering this task a bit. I need to watch movies every single day if I want to finish this task. So maybe I should just bring the number down. I was thinking 350 movies? Yes, good one. New task: Watch 350 movies!
I did watch 3 new movies: Avatar, Smokin' Aces 2 and New York, I love you. I swear that Avatar was a brilliant movie. Go see it, I you haven't yet :). The second was a sequel to a movie, different characters but the principle was the same en the last movie was just weird. The title is what grabbed but it was just a sequens of small stories with no main plot. As I said: weird.

Last weekend I sold for a little more than €600. My aim to have this task finished already was not a very good one. I just not that busy in the store. But I think I will get there eventually. It seems that I will be working 3 entire weeks in June so that will turn out just right..

I started this and it is really funny to do. The person who thought of this made up the weirdest questions. Some are easy to answer, just simple yes or no but other need a thought or 2. I really want to answer them all just out of curiosity.

This one is easy! Just played a funny game called Farm Mania 2 yesterday. The goal is to expand your farm by buying crops and animals. If I find this game in store I just might buy it.

So much for discipline. I cannot believe I let it go this far.. But I am determined to keep you updated in the future. So sit back and make yourself comfortable because it is going to be a big update!

#12 Read 250 books (93/250)
I need to keep working on this one. I love to read but I see that I have less time to do it because other things need my attention to. Since the January 7 I read an extra 11 books. A few needed to be read for a school assignment and I am so happy that assignment is finished. Two books I really enjoyed were Her name was Sarah from French writer Tatiana de Rosnay. It is a book about a French jewish girl in WWII. The book was really touching and is defenitely a must-read.
The other book I really liked was The Beach House by Jane Green. Jane Green has a way of writing which is so warm, so familiar. She wants to draw her reader in her world of family and friendship and I love it! The next book (I already started!) is The Battle for the Big School written by Sarah Tucker.

#13 Watch 500 movies (140/500)
I notice that I watch less movies than I used too. So conclusion: I need to watch more! Saw only 5 in the last 1,5 month. One of my favorites was the Sherlock Holmes movie. I went to see that movie with my uncle as a birthday present (turned 18, the 9th of January!). The movie was unbelievably exciting and when it appears on DVD I have to have it! Another movie I enjoyed was the movie Australia with Nicole Kidman. Even though the made the story quite long, they could have cut some scenes, it was a good movie nontheless. Go see those 2!

I do not really have to do anything for this one. The cards just keep coming to me! Got a few from the USA and Lithuania so I am quite satisfied.

#25 Visit 15 restaurants (9/15)
4 restaurants to add. Went to Le Byblos in the Hague with 2 girlfriends. It was kind of Greek but you could order all kinds of food. Went to 2 Chinese restaurants this week alone. With a group of people from where I work. One of my co-workers had her 40 year wedding aniversary! And I went to one with my grandparents so that was a pleasant suprise. Food was delicious because you can always eat as much as you want and you can pick your own combinations.
And then last wednesday. I flew to Innsbruck to go see my parents for a couple of days. We ate a small Italian restaurant called Il centro. The pizza I had was not really nice but I finished my little sisters plate so had a nice time after all:).

#12 Read 250 books (82/250)

I finished 3 books this week: Loverboys - Helen Vreeswijk, De zwarte met het witte hart - Arthur Japin and Mates, Dates and Tempting Trouble written by Cathy Hopkins.

First books is of series written by a former policeagent. She writes realistic stories about common problems in which youngsters are involved. She wrote books about drugs, chatting and this one is about Loverboys.
The second book is a Dutch literature book. I am reading it for school. Not really enjoyable though.
The last book is from a teen series known as the Mates - Dates series. It is about a group of teens living in London and how they live through High School. More books are to be read soon. There is a pile of them waiting for me. Next is a book (again for Dutch classes) called (translated) Gentlemen of the Tea. A book about Dutch emigrants in Indonesia when it still was a Dutch colony.

#13 Watch 500 movies (135/500)
I keep watching movies. Just watched 15 in a little more than a week. It is really fun because there are so many films that are incredible but are little known. One of the best movies I watched last week is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The movie is about a man called Benjamin who is born old. The physical process of growing older is reversed. Externally Benjamin is growing younger. His mind is getting older though. Which means he has to learn how to talk and walk when he seems old but ends up being a child with dementia. A really moving story and really worth the 2.5 hour sit!

To my great suprise 2 cards arrived this week from the USA. I had not expected to receive them so it was fun! One was from San Diego and one from Los Angeles. I still needed both of them so lucky me! This one is really fun to do because you get great views from city you might have never heard of!

As I said I received 2 from the US but also 6 postcards I received for Christmas! I had not counted those yet since these hung with the family cards. I only counted the cards directly addressed to me..

This was it for this week. It seems it is all about books and movies but these tasks are so time consuming! But I will try to keep working on the other tasks as well :)

Woow, Christmas is gone already. Such a shame, because I love Christmas! But it is what it is!

I am crawling towards the first milestone. The 100th book is soon to be read!

I know see that I made my 30 film goal of this month. Quite easy with a few days to spare! I just rented 10 movies so I still have a lot to watch!

#20 Try to collect postcards of 101 cities from my book 501 Cities (62/101)
This is still going great! I just received a new one yesterday: Singapore. I was waiting for that one! It is beautiful:)

#26 Cook 25 new recipes (8/25)
Made a chocolatecake, which was sooooo easy! It was powder and the only thing I needed to do was add water but still it tasted delicious.

#31 Visit 30 museums (1/30)
Finally started this task. It is about time because I don't know if I would have made it if I started later! Went to Amsterdam on a schooltrip. For the assignment we needed to go to The Historical Museum of Amsterdam. It is about the history of Holland and than Amsterdam in particular. Quite interesting.

This is going pretty well! It was a good week yesterday. I hope to finish this task end of february. I am confident that this will happen if I keep up the good work!

Gave my aunt a little tealight holder because she wanted a pair. She already got one for her birthday a few weeks ago.

#37 Visit 10 concert/musicals/festivals (3/10)
On the second of December I went to play called The History Boys. It starred on Broadway and a movie was made based on the script. Quite heavy stuff but still worth a visit.

#38 Collect 250 postcard (173/250)
Again, more postcards. The collection keeps growing! It is still real fun to receive cards. I never know what to expect when the mail has been delivered.

#55 Read 6 biographies (5/6)
1 more to go. The 5th I read was David Beckham's My Side. It is the story of his life sofar. Up until Euro 2004. It is not a recent book but still very personal and it gives great insight into his life. What really touched my is the love he feels for his wife and children. Many pages but a great read.

#77 Get 5 pairs of colourful and/or rare sneakers (1/5)
The new sneakers are gorgious! It is a black pair of Adidas sneakers. Not the classic ones though, it is a new version. I really dont know what the're called but I love them.

Only 1 book to go! I needs to wait though. Currently I am not in the mood for reading Twilight but I will finish the book soon.. At least, I hope I will!

#94 Buy/Get 3 expensive perfumes (3/3)
Yes, I finished another task. It was about time cause I did not finish a lot lately. Got 2 perfumes for Christmas: Christina Aquilera and Magic Woman from Bruno Banani. They smell lovely..

Hi everybody!
Already a month ago, my last update. But I certainly did not forget working on this project. To be honest: I am working on it nearly everyday. So this is going to be a big update!

#12 Read 250 books (71/250)
I just calculated that I read about 32 books last month. It seems like a enormous amount but there are great amount of books from a Dutch serie I already told about. It is a serie about detective solving crimes in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, the country where I live. One book takes me about 1,5 hour to finish so they are easy reads. I really enjoy reading them though. The serie contains 70 books and I finished 24 of them. So quite a lot to go! Will not take that long though. There is a stack of them waiting to be read!

#13 Watch 500 movies (90/500)
I expected to be quite far with this task right now but it seems to take longer than I thought. Since the holidays are there in 3 weeks I am planning to watch loads of movies coming month. About 30 or so. Now that I have the time! I already watched 2 today: In Bruges and Iron Man. Tomorrow before going to school I watching more!

I am doing quite well on this task! I still enjoy getting cards through Postcrossing. To name of few of the cities I received this month: Brasilia, Monte Carlo, Bruges, Berlin etc.

Last time I made dinner was a disaster. My friend and I tried to make a Thai mail but it was really spicey and the desert we made was burned! I hope I do better next time:)

Another week through again. Time flies when I am having fun. Not that I am having fun. I need to study for my testweek starting tomorrow. I really do not feel like learning:| But here are this weeks updates:

#12 Read 250 books (39/250)
Read an enormous amount of books from 1 serie. It is a dutch series about a detective solving crimes. There about 60+ books in the series. Of course I am reading them all;)

#34 Sell products in the shop where I work, worth €25,000 (€2456.07/€25,000.00)
I did not sell anything at all. I was really frustrated last night when I left work... :(

#37 Visit 10 concerts/musicals/festivals together with friends or family (2/10)
Went to the concert of Lily Allen last sunday with a friend. It was a really fun thing to do, but the DJ before Lily was absolutly horrible. A shame really but Lily made everything ok and I enjoyed my night.

#70 Meet 4 new people on Omegle (4/4)
This one was actually very easy. Finished this one this morning!

Not a great many things finished this week, hopefully next week is beter!

Read only 2 books this week. Went to see my grandparents and stayed there for a while so I did not really feel like reading..

This is the same, only 3 movies. Busy doing other things.

Since I was free from school last week I took some time to read from the bible. I have read Jozua and Richteren (these are Dutch names).

#26 Cook 25 new recipes (5/25)
Last monday I made something called exotic wraps. A recipe with meat, wraps and fruit. Nice enough but not something I am making again. Then when I was with my grandparents I actually made main course and the dessert. The main course was also a kind of meat with a spanish sauce of tomatoes. And the dessert was delicious. Strawberries covered in chocolate and something called soesjes. It is a kind of cookie with cream on the inside, also covered in chocolate. I made a big tower with both the strawberries and the soesjes. My grandpa could not stop eating it!

#34 Sell products in the shop where I work, worth €25,000 (€2240.37/€25,000.00)
I sold a table of €300 euro yesterday so my total was good. I am working today too. Hope to reach €2750 after today.

#36 Give 10 people a gift for absolutly nothing (6/10)
Gave my middle sister a piggy bank to. I am making a trip to Canada/US next year and we all try to save money to buy lots of stuff when we are there!

#55 Read 6 biographies (4/6)
Just finished a biography called Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I did not grab me like some other books do to me but it was interesting enough. It took me a long time to read though! I am already reading the next biography. This time David Beckham's My Side. I just started last night and it is way more intresting that the other books!

#68 Knit a scarf
Started knitting a proper scarf, one I can actually wear when it is winter again. It is purple with lila and it is going to be beautiful in the end!

#71 Visit my grandparents at least 15 times and bring them a gift. (3/15)
Like it said before I went to see my grandparents this week and I stayed there for 3 days. I really love staying there since it is really quiet and I can sleep late and they take care of me! I brought them a new teabox. A really beautiful grey one!

#93 Take a day to just help other people. [22/10/2009]
Last but not least, a task I finished! I went to help my grandma in a elderly centre. It was only for a short time but I also helped my aunt in the morning and my grandma the night before so I think I did enough to cross off this task!

So what did I do this week?

#12 Again finished a couple of books. I am planning on reading 6 more this week since I am free from school! I read: Mates, Dates and Designer Divas/Mates, Dates and Sleepover Secrets/Mates, Dates and Sole Survivors by Cathy Hopkins and The Rain Before It Falls by Jonathan Coe. Currenly reading Romeo and Julliet by William Shakespeare.

#13 And ofcourse lots of movies (8 to be precise!), see the list for them all!

#15 Finished two more books from my bible: Numeri and Deuteronomium.

#34 Sold for a staggering €789.93 yesterday at work!

#38 6 new postcards.

#57 One new compliment:D.

#79 Already ran 7.2 km with my new shoes. I dont know when I am going running again. I think tomorrow because I am quite tired today..

I going like crazy all of a sudden!

#8 I have my AJAX SHIRT! Haha, went shopping with my mama today. I there it was. The red and white shirt. I wanted it so badly that I had to buy it! This one can be crossed of the list.

#12 I finished 3 books: The Prisioner by Malika Oufkir/Mates, Dates and Cosmic Kisses by Cathy Hopkins and The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling. I am now reading two new books. The Rain Before it Falls written by Jonathan Coe and the 3rd book in the Mates, Dates series: Mates, Dates and Designer Divas:)

#13 Watched 2 more movies: Wit Licht (a Dutch movie!) and Get Smart.

#26 Nearly finished my pie and thus my second recipe:) I will post a photo later.

#38 127 cards sofar. Need to sent some more cards by postcrossing:)

#55 Finish reading the Prisioner by Malika Oufkir. It is the story of the daughter of General Oufkir, once the minister of Defence in Marocco. When he tried to undermine the power of the king he was executed and his wife and children were held captive for 20 years. Really sad but worth reading about.

#59 Finished the puzzle to! I will also post a picture of this one:)

#78 YEAH, got my own running shoes. There is just white, grey with baby blue but their mine, that is the best part:) I bought the Nike+ running system with it so I am starting running tomorrow. 250 km here we come!

So finished 3 tasks this week, pretty impressive after all the 'silent' months!
Hope next week will be a good week too:) We will see..

Hi people:)

Today I started task 59. I bought the puzzle (a disney puzzle!) and I want to finish it really bad because I just want to know what the final result will be!

#12 I am reading the second book from the series Mates, Dates by Cathy Hopkins. Teen book but a very funny read.

#13 Just watched the movie Year of the Dog. Not that spectacular but entertaining enough.

#26 Coming saturday I am going try a new recipe again! It is a pie with strawberries so it sounds delicious! I actually like cooking a lot but I don't do it that often. I don't really know why not, so with this task that is going to change!

#37 Coming up: The LILY ALLEN CONCERT! Haha, it is the 25th of October and I am quite excited to go there. Also in December, we are going to see a musical with school:).

#55 Reading a book written by Malika Oufrir, very inspiring woman. Want to try and finish this book because I want to know how it ends, what she has been through. I also ordered David Beckham's biography called My Side. A friend of mine said it is a must, especially when you like soccer, like I do!

#78 And finally! I am getting my Nike+ shoes this saturday. I am going to buy them with my mom. I am very curious about the system!

I am going to watch the telly, one of my favorite shows is on;)

I did it again! Once again I feel the need to change something in my list. For my next list I should definetly take a longer time to think about what I actually want and if it is even achievable!
So this are the ones I have to change:
#2 Visit all 51 States of America
I am not living in the USA, I am not even close. I still live with my parents and I don't have the budget to finish this. So this is not going to happen. What am I going to do?
Visit 10 US States.

#3 Visit an Olympic Game.
This is also a thing I will not achieve with this list. Main reason is that there is only one Olympic Game during this period, and that one is coming up the beginning of 2010 and I know for sure I am not going to go there! But with what shall I replace it?
Set up a tent in my backyard and sleep there with a friend.

#5 Last change:
I will not be able to afford a ticket to the CL Final. Maybe in the future when I am very rich or won the lottery or get incredibly famous, but for know: Nope, no way. So what then:
Visit either a ManU game or a Barcelona game.

Due to some problems I have to change my task 65. Due to copyright problems I cannot watch episodes of South Park any more, since I am not currently living in the USA. Therefore I have to download most of the episodes and I cannot get them all, so instead of watching all episodes I am going to try and watch about 100 if I can get that many! Maybe someone I know has some seasons of DVD;).

I can say that I have officially finished this task! Even though I missed one day and tomorrow is the official last day, I am still counting it as done:). It was fun to do but also very hard because I dont have that much inspiration as to what I can write about! #37 Yesterday I went to a musical with my mother and 2 sisters. It was a dutch musical called Ciske de Rat:). The story was very moving and maybe I get the chance to buy the DVD or something!

#55 Reading a biography written by a Enlish professor in Teheran, Iran.

For the rest I did not do that much. I am working of the movies and the books most of the time but I need to go and finish some different things!

Hi!
This is what's new:

#6: I am a huge fan of soccer, really even though most girls actually hate soccer! Last thursday I went to a match of my favorite team: AFC Ajax. The match was a match in the play-offs of the Europe League and we played against a Slovakan team (Slovan Bratislava). We actually beat them 5 to nill! I was really, really happy and when Ajax enters the groupstage I will make sure to visit some of those games too!

#13: 3 new movies to add to my list. My Fake Fiancé, 27 dresses and Ocean's Thirteen.

#20: Received a card from a new city, Tapei, Taiwan.

#33: S visited me after a 6 week break!

#12 Yesterday I finished the book The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafron. I am currently reading This Charming Man written by Marian Keyes:).

#24 Since I finished 6 task sofar, I needed to put into saving €30. I put in €20 already. €10 to go!

#71 Visited my grandparents today. Went there by scooter. It was freezing cold this morning (I didnt wear a jacket) but I survived it:). It ws fun to do!

Going different - again

I felt like a lot of things on my list were not quite realistic to achieve, at this certain time. I am only 17 without the means of the time to do things like actually visiting a tribe in Africa. Maybe when I am a little older, 20 something. And leaving those things on the list would mean, that I am going to fail a certain amount tasks beforehand. Also I feel like I have written down things just to fill the list. Now that I have actually got the time to think about what I want to achieve with this list, I changed a few things on the list. The new things are things I really want and are realistic. The things I know removed from the list are not forgotten, dont get me wrong! But I will just leave them for another list, a different bucket list, one that is not ending in 890 days today. This also means that 10% of the time is already gone en I did not even achieve 10% of my goals yet! This is because a lot of things on the list take time. But I am really certain that I will achieve most of them in the long haul:). So here is what I have add/altered:

Hi people!
This is going to be a mega update, because I have not go the time to write for a very long time now! Quite a lot happened the last weeks and now it is time to see what I have achieved:).

#12 read about 7 books this holiday. Normally I read more but it was a very busy holiday! Loads of things to do actually. But I am back home now and I have all the time to finish so more books! To see which books I read click the green 12 in the list of the right hand side!

#13 Only watched 2 movies this holiday. I think I need to hurry to actually finish this and the above task! (Movies I watched were: Sex and the City, the movie and Bring it on, In it to win it!)

#19 I actually visited a few cities from this one already: Barcelona and Nice this holiday! Both of them are beautiful cities. I spend only one day in Barcelona and did not even get to see Gaudi's park or the inside of the Sagrada Familia. I did went to Camp Nou. But maybe in the future I will return there;).
I spend about 4 weeks of my holiday in Nice to learn French. I is an amazing city, though it is not a very charming city (this is what i think!). But I got to know the place really well and maybe in the future I feel like returning to the place I met so many wonderful people!

#20 Luckily I got more postcards during the holidays. So I can now safely say I have collected more of certain places in my book. This are the new ones: Brussels, Nice, Cannes, Rio de Janeiro, Hangzhou, Kobe, Tokio, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Vancouver and Las Vegas! This task is heading in a good direction. Hope to get this finished a little quicker!

#24 One of the things on my list is to put €5 into savings for each completed item. I have finished not that much sofar (NUMBER) but I still have to save a fiver for every task sofar. I am gonna get that money as soon as possible and put it into this little cut piggybank (one i cannot open:P!)

#27 Sofar is sent 36 cards by Postcrossing. 6 more are going to be sent 2morrow. So my total will be 42 then, only 8 to go!

#36 Gave my sister a piggy bank she cannot open yesterday, because she totally demolished here other piggy bank!

#38 Since last time I counted I received/bought/got 40 more postcards! This is going to be easy!

#39 This task in very hard to measure. I have been learning how to speak French since I was 12 which is 5 years now. In july I spent 4 weeks in France to actually learn proper French doing a course. I think it helped me a lot. But will need to learn more before I can call myself someone speaking proper French. So this one is started but defo not finished!

#44 I also started to learn to play golf! I went to a golfcourse in Spain 2 weeks ago, where my father taught me the basics of golf. I was so much harder than I thought it would be, but I still enjoyed very much. Maybe in the next vacation I will keep on practising..

#52 I am meeting someone! It is not really a person which I met online but I girl who I met when I was in Nice learning French about 3 weeks ago. I am very excited to see her again because she is such a sweet girl:). I am going there first weekend of september so really quick! Joehoee!

#71 Going to my grandparents on Tuesday. I go by scooter what is going to be quite an adventure but I think it will be really fun to do. I must not forget to pick up a present for them before I leave..

#73 I can actually say I FINISHED THIS ONE:D. Nice was incredible. Really, so much fun and I met the craziest, funniest people ever!

#81 FINISHED THIS ONE TOO:D It was super scary but it was worth it. It were rocks about 5 metres above the sea, which I jumped off. I just ran and jumped so that I did not get the time to be scared. The only thing that was bad that the Ocean was so salty and my eyes started to hurt right away, but it was worth it!

#95 I can only say one thing about the sunglasses: absolute gorgiousness. I want to wear them all the time. I am seriously addicted!

#12 Finished a new book, called Leaving Microsoft to change the world by John Wood. John Wood used to work at Microsoft but decided to give up his job to start a new organization: Room to Read. This organization provides children in third-world countries with schools. libraries and scholarships! You can find more information on the website: www.roomtoread.org!

#13 Watched quite a lot of movies these last days, e.g. Yes Man and Confessions of a Shopaholic. For an update see the list:).

First of all I would like to congratulate my little sister. She turned 13 today:).
Made little progress this week, but I am happy as long as I am actually making progress.

#12 Finished 2 books: Saturday by Ian McEwan and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas by John Boyne. Going to read Atonement by Ian McEwan now:).

#13 Finally finished Aviator. It took soooo long to finish. Also recorded Artificial Inteligence. Going to watch that movie a couple of days..

#20 Received to more cards for this task. One from Zagreb and one from Paris.

#27 Sent to more cards with Postcrossing, I passed the 50%.

#38 In two days I received 10 postcards!

I decided to do it all different with this task! The number of books in this task will not change! It will stay 250 books in 1001 days. But I want to change the categories. I want to read 125 books from the 1001 books you must read before you die list and 125 books which I can pick at random. This makes it easier and nicer to achieve this task!

Hello Dearies,
(as my superactive English teacher would say), week is almost trough again. I failed in both finishig the book and the movie by today because I am working really hard for school!

#20 Received a card from a city in the Philipines, one that was actually in my book. The city is called Manila. Sofar I have 6!

#25 Visited a local restaurant with some friends from work! The restaurant is a Greek restaurant and is called Odysses. The food is really good there!

#27 Sent 24 postcards by postcrossing sofar! I am going to sent 2 more tonight!

#33 For my doing something with friends list I did two things more: Dinner with coworkers and yesterday a friend stayed to play some games on the XBOX. It was really nice, to just relax for a while!

#38 Received more postcards! ^-^ Now 34 in total!

#65 I continued watching South Park episoded. I really, really like Southpark. The humor in it is really good:).

This was everything sofar this week. The weekend will probably be quiet. Tomorrow my best friend celebraters her birthday and my little sisters birthday is coming sunday. I guess I am gonna eat a lot of pie the coming days!

Time goes fast, really fast. The year is almost 50% through. June has started and it is supposed to be good weather. Actually it has been raining the last couple of hours:(.

#12 Just finished (finally!) John Irving's Cider House Rules. I really, really liked the book. Going to start reading Ian McEwan's Saturday tonight.

#83 YES, bought my 1st pair of Converse (the 8th pair in total:D). I really like them. If you google graffiti converse, it are the once with grey background:).

I have done only a little this week! I hope that is changing the coming days. I will try to finish both the book (Saturday) and the movie (Aviator) by wednesday!
Also, this week I am going to have dinner with some colluages from work to eat out in a Greek restaurant! This is going to be something for both #25 and #33!

Hello:)
I has been a month since I started this project and I cant believe that I am still working on it:)!
Not many can be done these days because I really don't have the time to do timeabsorbing things right now. But here is what's up:

#12 Still reading Cider House Rules. I really want to get this book finished by friday or saturday because else it will take so long. When I finish it, I want to read Saturday by Ian McEwan.

#13 I still have to finish Aviator. Almost at the end really, maybe I watch it tonight:). Then tomorrow I will propably finish Broken Blossoms.

#19 This became a smaller number. I saw that when I made this list, I was really optimistic about travelling everywhere, but 101 cities just can't be done in this amount of time. So I chose for 25 to begin with:)!

#20 Instead of taking postcards with my myself, when I visit a city, I now want to get them by swapping with other people! This number is not changed because it is easier to get this!

#24 I should stil 'save' €15 for the three finished tasks I did. Help me remind:)

#27 My 20th card will be written in sent in few minutes:) It took very long for some card to arrive. One I sent to Germany is still travelling. I am thinking about making an extra blog about postcard where I update pictures of the once I received!

#33 Did finish the DO SOMETHING WITH A FRIEND task last week. Went swimming with a friend.

#38 I just decided what the new, improved task 38 is going to be: Collect at least 250 different postcards. It does not matter what kind of cards these are;).

#46 ONE OF MY PLANTS ALMOST DIED:. A few days ago, I woke up and my beautiful plant was dying. I think because I gave it to little water (shame on me!). But now I am going to take care of them extra good.

Helloooooooo:),
Woow, quite some time ago that I was last here to tell you about this amazing project that I am still doing! So what did I do this week?

#12 Now reading The Cider House Rules by John Irving. I cannot really focus on reading right now, maybe in the weekend. For school I am currenly reading De Avonden by Gerard Reve, a well-known dutch writer. Tomorrow I have a test about this book so I still have some reading to do tonight!

#13 Watched four movies these last days: United 93, Chigago, Return of the King and the Departed. I am now watching Aviator, also starring Leonardo di Caprio (just as the Departed!) and I have to finish Broken Blossoms:).

#27 19th card was officially sent by mail a few days ago. It has been quite at ease the last couple of days because a lot of cards I sent are still traveling to their destination. But I did receive some postcard, for example from South Africa, Japan, China and Finland.

#33 Didn't do anything with friend sofar this week, at least not outside of school. Maybe S. and I go to a party in Beusichem coming saturday (it is a day off for my! HURRAY:O). I hope we will go, I am looking forward to it! But may we not go, we can possibly think of something else to do.

#55 I am reading a biography, which is in fact quite interesting to read. It is a biography about Nelson Mandela and it has like 700 pages, so it will take me a while to finish it!

#61 Actually did not start on being a vegetarian for a week. I am soo stressed with school that I cannot cope with watching what I eat. ;)

#97 And I finished the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I just sooo looooove those movies. And even though it was the millionth time that I saw this movie, I still had to cry at the end (The scene when Aragorn and all people of Minas Tirith bow for the hobbits and the scene where Frodo, Bilbo and Gandalf leave with the elves to the undying land.. So sad:'(...)
Now I want still want to see al the Starwars movies, but I don't know where to find these yet..

And now back to daily life *sighs* because that damn book has to be finish tonight!

Hello everybody!
Forgot to update for a few days, unfortunately. But here is what I did these last days:

#12 Finished a book from the list: The Remains of the Day written by Kazuo Ishiguro. Was actually reading The Unconsoled from the same reader but this book was soooo boring, so I quite reading it. Went to the library this morning. I am going to read Saturday, a book from Ian McEwan.

#13 The coming days I am going to watch a few movies: still have to finish United 93 and Broken Blossoms. Going to start the Return of the King.

#15 The Bible: Read Exodus yesterday. This one is a work in progress and it will take quite some time for me to finish this. Try to read as much as I can..

#27 The Postcrossing project is something I really, really enjoy doing! Sofar, I received 7 cards:D. I cannot sent anymore cards at the time because I have to wait till the cards travelling arrive. Hopefully this will not take too long. But sent 15 already, 35 to go!
Just received an email: One has arrived! 16th card is ready to go!

#33 Did something with friends this week:). Went to the Kermis (I still dont know this word in english, I have to search for a proper translation:O) with some friends. It was a sort of reunion with girls from elementary school:).

#61 I am going to start being a vegetarian for a week tomorrow:).

#97 Watched 2 of the 9 movies already. I want to rent Starwars in a couple of weeks.. :)

Yeah, I doing fine with tasks. Yesterdag I finished another one. Drank only water for 2 entire weeeeeks:. And I can tell you that I am addicted to milk, so it was a hard one. But I made it and the first thing I am going to when I am downstairs, in a couple of minutes, is drink a gigantic glass of milk!

Painting my nails made me very happy, with all those colors XD. I will definitly paint them more often. But for now, have to get back to 99 other tasks!

Hello everyone!
It has been a few days since my last update, but I must say not many has happened:(.
But here is what DID happened:

#12 Started reading a new book: The unconsoled by Kazuo Isguiro(?). Really weird book sofar but I am determined to finish it for the list!

#13 Tonight I am going to watch a movie from the list: When Harry met Sally is broadcasted on tv tonight!

#27 Sent my 9th card with Postcrossing. Actually received some cards back already: 3, from Canada, France and India! Waiting for another want to get to its detination because then I get to send a new one!

#36 This time I gave my Dad a present:). It is a book, with all kinds of questions in it, which he has to answer. Then he returns it to me so I have always something from my papa.

#46 Bought a new plant yesterday. A small plant in a grey pot, not standing in my room. I just love the smell of them and I can't wait to have more! These are white so they fit nicely in my room (even though my room is orange:O)

#67 Still going strong on my water diet! 6 days left

#87 Almost finished this one tooo! An update about this will be posted tonight!

#12 - Change of plans

Tough is still will continue reading from the list 1001 books you must have read before you die, I am changing the amount of books I want to read from that list. Certainly now it gets a bit busier with school and work. So instead of 501, I will read 250 to begin with. I sense that this is more senseable number:D.

Helly everybody!
Did not post for a few days, because school started again and I did not really find to time to update here. But now I will give you a small overview over the last couple of days:

#13: Started watching movies. Watched 3 sofar (actually watched Grease just a few hours ago with my little sister! We really enjoyed this one:) Now watching The Birth of a Nation, a 3 hour long movie. But it is quite interesting though!

#27: Just received an email that another postcard of me arrived. This time the one I sent to the USA. I already requested a new address and wrote a new postcard. I will sent this one tomorrow!

#37: Worked a bit on this task. I did not really visit a concert already but I got tickets to see LILY ALLEN on the 25th of October (YEAH!) - I am sooooo looking forward to this:D.

#57: Complimented some really high-fashioned people today as I was working:).

#64: Bought 2 new CD's. I did not own any CD's up until now. The albums are Adele - 19 and Taylor Swift - Fearless. I have to listen to them, because they did arrive today and I don't not really have the time to enjoy them..

#67: Still going strong on the water drinking project. It is not that hard, at least less hard than I expected. And appears to be good for your health too! 10 days to go..

#87: Something I really enjoy doing: Coloring my nails. This was the second day and I had Pink and Gold already. For tomorrow I have chosen brown. This task is really not that hard!

As you see, working on a lot of things as the same time. But I keep my hopes up for finishing everything!

Yes, finished my first task! Task that I finished was task 72 (Get a proper haircut). Went to get my hair cut and colored today. I really happy with the result! It is brown with gold-blonde highlights. *sighs*

Also worked on 2 other tasks:
#25 - Visited another restaurant. This time De Buurvrouw in Tiel. Went there with my parents and two sisters. Had a lot of fun!
#67 - Drank only water today:). 13 days to go!

Hello everybody!
I hope you all had a good weekend (even though it is already Wednesday;)) Here is an update about the things I have done these last days:

#12 - Started reading a book for the 501 books list. I finished it (The Great Gatsby - F. Fritzgerald) and I really enjoyed reading it! Sofar I have finished 6 books from the list. Today I am going to the library to pick up and new book, propably start reading it tonight!

#27 - As already mentioned, 2 of my postcards arrived. One in Germany and one in the United Kingdom. I very pleased and sent another 2 already. I hope that one of these days I'll receive a card back.

#33 - Started on task 33, spending time with friends. One week, should be doing something with a friend twice because I started a week too late. But this week in did something with a friend and it was really fun hanging out together!

#34 - Posted another 2 pictures for my random photo task.

#36 - This time I gave my sister a present. I am happy she really enjoyed it. When people enjoy the gift you bought them, it is really nice to give a present.
Update: Gave my little sister a present too. Bought her a book and a magnatic bookmark:).

#59 - Started a 1000 piece puzzle. It shows a important building in Russia. I really have to take some time and ease for this one, because I sometimes get frustrated if pieces go missing.

#65 - Slowly proceeding on the South Park task too. Watched 11 episodes and almost finished season 1 entirely.

#36 Gift

Today I decided to start another task on the list, task 36. It says I should give 10 people a gift for no reason. So i bought my mom a new grey scarf (which I can borrow!).
Tomorrow I am going to start with task 71, because I will visit my grandparents (and I will bring them a gift..)

I noticed that I have a lot of things on the list that cannot be finished that quick! So I have to keep track of what I'm doing! Since a couple of weeks I tried to be disciplined a lot more and I must say, sofar it works out..
So what did I do today and yesterday working on this project:

#12: I already mentioned that I ordered the book 1001 books you must read before you die. They said I was going to take 3-4 days until the book arrives so it is going to be next week before I can start with the reading.

#15: Started reading the Bible. I actually finished Genesis. I cannot say that I am very religious but I was sort of curious why the bible is the most read book in the world. A lot of stories I recognise, because they are so familiar. It is actually readable.

#27: Right now the maximum of 5 cards are travelling the globe. I am waiting for them to arrive and I am excited to get a response or actually receiving a postcard from someone else. I think this task is going to be one of the easiest tasks, even though it is going to take some time before I can finish it.

#34: The random photos are not going to be a problem either but the same issue; it is going to take some time.

#65: I started watching episodes of South Park. I watched 7 sofar. The only problem of this task is that the makers of South Park still make episodes, so maybe I never fully finish that task.

This was the updated for now, maybe I'll work on it today but I will definitly update tomorrow!

I just like sending cards to people. It makes me feel good to see those cards sliding in a mailbox, knowing that in a couple of days people around the world will receive mail from me! And I cannot wait for some cards to come back:). Sofar I sent 5 cards, 45 to go! These are the ones I sent today.

This morning I went outside very early to deliver some mail. I do this once a week. Since it is going to be warm today and I have to work, I decided to get up early and do it while it still nice outside. When I was delivering I took these two pictures.

One of the reasons I wanted to put this one on the list, is because I think plants and flowers make a room look nice! They smell good, and when the flowers are blooming they look beautiful.
The one I bought today, is a natural 'air cleaner', so from now on I only get to breath really clean air!
